IT?was thanksgiving day in Barbados yesterday.
Focussing on the theme Upward And Onward With The Lord As Our Guide, the Government of Barbados gave thanks for 44 years as an independent nation at a National Independence Service yesterday.
Led by the political and religious directorate, prayers were offered on an overcast afternoon in Independence Square.
