THE WORLD is waiting for the manifestation of the Sons of God. True believers must therefore manifest God. However, they must first seek Him with their whole hearts.
They must seek His righteousness first and foremost, as stated in Matthew 6: 33.
It was a stirring message preached by Florida-based prophetess/pastor Sandra Moore during the Miracle Revival Crusade at the Barbados Public Workers’ Co-operative Credit Union last Friday night.
As the rain beat down on the rooftop, lots of praise, worship and adoration were directed to God in the inner room.
The people danced, clapped and beat their cymbals. This spirit of praise gave way to an open door for the preaching of the Gospel.
“Seeking after God” could easily have been the title of the message.
Moore, who has been ministering in Barbados annually for the past 27 years, worked hand in hand with pastor Orman Jones of Calvary Deliverance Tabernacle, Church Village, St Philip.
She told her attentive audience: “God wants me to say to you, ‘Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you’. (Matthew 6: 33)”
She explained that “to seek” meant “setting out in search of”, but she stressed that God must be first.
“God must be No. 1, not second, third or fourth; not when you can fit Him into your schedule; not before your first cup of coffee in the morning, but before you get out of bed,” she preached.
Moore said that since a kingdom represented a territory ruled by its king, so we must be subjected to God’s rule over our lives.
“God can be trusted. When you allow Him to set up rule in your lives and those of your family, everything will turn out right.”
She noted the following from the Scriptures:
“If you seek God first, you will find Him, know Him and manifest Him.
“They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.
“They that seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.
“They that seek God early shall find Him.
“He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Moore also said God’s people must humble themselves, turn from their wicked ways and seek Him, for Him to forgive them of their sins and heal their land.
“God is calling His people to humble themselves and pray. There is a remnant that will make Him their Lord and Saviour,” she stressed.
She also urged her congregation not to store up treasures on earth, but to be rich in God and keep their eyes towards Heaven.
“The world is waiting to see the manifestation of the Sons of God in you. They are waiting to see you act, talk and walk differently.
“The lonely, depressed drug addicts are waiting for you to manifest God, so you must decrease that God can increase.
“The world wants us to be more like Jesus. It does not want religion or traditions of men.
“You don’t have to wear long sleeves or go without make-up to prove anything. The world wants to see Jesus in you,” she added.
The three-day crusade ended last night.
