Stranded in the warmth

Scores of British visitors were left stranded at Grantley Adams International?Airport yesterday after Virgin?Atlantic and British Airways cancelled flights following heavy snowfall that closed most airports in London.
  “The big freeze” forced the closure of the two major airports, Gatwick and Heathrow, and the two airlines grounded flights that would have brought hundreds of visitors to Barbados.
   Reports from London said Gatwick Airport was forced to close from 10:30 p.m. last?Tuesday and remained shut yesterday.
