Coroner Faith Marshall-Harris yesterday took her investigations to Arch Cot, Brittons Hill, St Michael, where a family of five perished in August 2007.
Marshall-Harris (foreground) was accompanied by friends and relatives of the deceased, Chief Town Planner Mark Cummins, lawyers and Barbados Defence Force officials connected with the case.
Some relatives wept or fought back tears during the morning visit, which lasted nearly an hour and saw the coroner asking questions on topics including building permission for the district.
The coroner is investigating the deaths of Donavere Codrington, 30, his wife Cassandra, 27; and their three children, seven-year-old Shaquanda, three-year-old Shaquille and one-year-old Yashiro. (Picture by Donnay Deane.)
