MYRON McKINLEY, the musical director of the legendary Earth, Wind and Fire, will be one of the musicians on keyboards at the eighth annual FirstCaribbean Christmas Jazz on Sunday, December 12, and Monday, December 13, at the Plantation Garden Theatre.
McKinley, a multi-talented and gifted pianist, was born and raised in Los Angeles and began jazz and classical piano at the tender age of three years old.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Southern California where he studied film scoring, performance, jazz and classical piano. During his stint at university he was the recipient of several awards.  
Quickly after graduating he performed and toured with a number of music’s biggest artists including Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Morris Day, CeCe Winans, Faith Evans, Patti LaBelle, to name a few.
