CURIOUS TOURISTS, vendors, shoppers and other Barbadians yesterday joined in the last celebration activity of Tourism Week – Bajan Pride Exposition – held in The City.
A parade made its way from Heroes Square to Jubilee Gardens, via Swan Street, capturing the attention of many. At intervals, the parade would stop and engage members of the public in dancing or simply handing out small gifts to children.
Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy and Member of Parliament for the City Patrick Todd joined the celebrations in Jubilee Gardens where a number of vendors displayed and sold their crafts, jewellery and other products. (MM)
