krosfyah to focus on uplifting youth

NEXT YEAR, krosfyah will focus on promoting positive vibes among the youth.
This was the word from band member Edwin Yearwood as he spoke during a Press conference held yesterday at Starcom Network, River Road, about krosfyah’s and the PowerX4 band 4Ever21, Old Year’s Night party.
Noting that his band was celebrating 21 years this year, Yearwood said: “Twenty-one is a wonderful time when you can do so many things as a young group; push positive messages and uplift the youth. And that is what we are going to try to do next year. . . .
“It is going to be about the youth as we try to instil some of those values that are so badly lacking at this time. . . . Setting and pushing examples to the young people to do better and motivate them as much as possible,” he said.
One lucky person who attends the event will be ringing in the New Year with a new $50 000 fully loaded Chevy Spark if their ticket is chosen through a draw that night.
PowerX4 managing director Chetwyn Stewart said it was the third year the two bands presented the annual Old Year’s Night event which is expected to feature other local entertainers. (AH)
