Barbados has recorded another road fatality.
And today, police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man who died as a result of a fatal accident which occurred on Christmas Eve at Forde’s Road, Clapham, St Michael.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m.
A release from public relations officer of The Royal Barbados Police Force Inspector David Welch noted that the unidentified man succumbed to his injuries at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
“At the time of the accident, he was walking along Forde’s Road when he became involved in an accident with a truck. It is believed that in the past the victim could be seen in on occasions walking in the Forde’s Road, and the Clapham areas.
“The victim is said to be in his late forties to early fifties. He is of medium build and is about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He has a low well kept salt-and-pepper hair style and wore a black baseball cap. He is of a dark complexion; he has a small head, with small ears and eyes; his teeth are well kept.
“At the time he wore an olive green vest, a blue NBA T shirt with the words ‘NICKS’ written in orange; a three-quarter length faded blue jeans pants; white socks and black and silver ‘Reebok’ sneakers. He wore a beaded bracelet made of black, silver and blue beads,” according to the statement.
