Fatality identified

The man who died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being involved in an accident with a truck has been identified as 40-year-old Hallam William King, of Bartlett Tenantry, Christ Church. 
The accident occurred on Friday December 24, about 4 pm at Forde’s Road, Clapham, St Michael. 
This was confirmed earlier today by Police public relations officer Inspector David Welch.
He also noted that detectives in the Southern Division have arrested and chared Miguel Brandon Taitt, 17, of Kendall Hill Park, Christ Church, for the murder of Sheldon Taylor, which occurred on December 23, at Silver Hill Christ Church.
Welch said Taitt is also facing two other charges – recklessly discharged a firearm in public and used a firearm without a licence. – which were committed in the same area around the same time.
Taitt was expected to appear at the District A Magistrate Court today. (CM)
