The young generation of Claytons Kola Tonic Notre Dame footballers are following in the footsteps of the players from the older era.
The Dames pre-teen ballers lifted the Barbados Football Association’s Win in CONCACAF with CONCACAF Under-13 title with a commanding 3-1 victory over Haynesville on Sunday evening at the Blenheim playing field.
Zidane Harte, Rajohn Hawkesworth and Amani Leacock were the goalscorers for the Dames while Stefan Watson scored Haynesville’s lone goal.
In the third-place match, Pinelands defeated Pride of Gall Hill 4-2 on penalties after the score was locked 1-1 at the end of regulation time. Ray Francis was on target for Pinelands and Shakeel Browne replied for Gall Hill.
