AT THE STROKE of midnight last night, Old Year’s Night partygoers who had dined on sumptuous fare at the Crane Beach Resort hugged, kissed and sang Auld Lang Syne to the tune of popping balloons.
“Happy New Year”, more than 400 people – mainly couples – screamed, as the colourful balloons, cascading with the countdown to the midnight hour, added to the festive atmosphere of the near-400-room St Philip property.
