A CHRIST CHURCH father of one and a caring boyfriend were gunned down in separate incidents in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Dead are 29 year-old Anderson Brathwaite of Sargeant Road, Ellerton, St George who was attending a fete in the nearby district of Cane Hill; while part-time labourer Adrian Ricardo Nervais, 32, also known as Max, of Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church, was liming near his home around 12:35 a.m. when he was fatally shot.
Police reported Nervais was shot in the abdomen following a dispute with a man at a party near his home. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle where he subsequently died.
The NATION paid a visit to his home and spoke to his mother, Jemis Nervais, who described the last time she saw her son alive.
In the other incident, Brathwaite’s girlfriend Lisa Bovell recalled him as a loving, caring gentleman. Speaking to the NATION at their home in Ellerton, St George where they shared an apartment, she broke down crying as she spoke adoringly of her 29-year-old boyfriend.
