Barbados Labour Party (BLP) candidate in the upcoming St John by-election Hudson Griffith plans to bring hope to the people of that parish.
Griffith, accompanied by members of the party, including leader Owen Arthur, arrived at The Lodge School for the nomination process around 1:15 this afternoon.
Also present were St Andrew MP George Payne and MP for St Joseph Dale Marshall.
The Nation’s John Sealy reports that the small, but vocal crowd, erupted in loud applause after the signing.
Arthur, speaking to reporters after, acknowledged that the by-election would be an uphill battle, but vowed to put all the issues on the table.
Griffith said his plan was to bring hope to the people of that parish. (CM)
