Motorcyclist Barry Cox, 30, of Fairy Valley, Christ Church, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment yesterday after being involved in a collision with a car on the ABC Highway, at the intersection of Newton and Bannantyne in Christ Church.
The accident occurred around 5:45 p.m. The motorcycle was wrecked.
The driver of the car, Nigel Burke, 22, of Chancery Lane, Christ Church, was not injured but Cox suffered some abrasions, said police.
Traffic flow on the highway was affected for some time.
