There was no room at the St Patrick’s Cathedral this morning when a service of celebration was held for 17-year-old altar server and former Alleyne School cricketer Winston Clarke.
Clarke died recently from sick cell anaemia.
Monsignoir Vincent Blackett conducted the service where there were 50 minutes of tributes, including musical presentations from Troy Marshall, Shontelle Marshall and the Alleyne School choir.
The service also reopened some of the wounds from the Tudor Street tragedy which occurred last year, since one of the victims was also a young member of the St. Patrick Cathedral.
After the service the interment took place at the Westbury Cemetery.
