Five new teams have joined ten others hoping to dethrone two-time defending champions Passage Road in the 3rd Inspire Sports/National Sports Council Under-13 Cricket Tournament which bowls off on Sunday at noon.
Northern sides Lords and North Stars, Skeete’s Academy, Police and the all-Muslim side Al-Falah are the newcomers to this year’s tournament. Also competing will be Wanderers, Isolation Juniors, Ellerton, St Philip Juniors, Carlton, Market Hill, Dover, Banks, Bristol and YMPC. However, Sharon Community and Phoenix Academy will not be returning this year.
The tournament get underway at noon on Sunday at grounds across the island, and each match is 35 overs per side. (SAT)
