Fence shifted

The controversial fence which was erected at a tenantry road at Road View, St Peter, by construction mogul Bjorn Bjerkhamn, has been repositioned.
Yesterday workmen from Fence It were busy removing the top section of the fence an additional two feet away from the entrance of the residential tenantry to allow vehicles access.
Only last week, upset residents complained that Bjerkhamn, who also lives at Road View and has several business interests in the area, had erected the fence without any consultation with them and had not allowed enough access for vehicles, forcing them to find parking space elsewhere.
Attorney-at-law Edmund Hinkson, acting on behalf of constituency representative Rawle Eastmond, told the MIDWEEK?NATION? that after speaking to the residents he met with Bjerkhamn and his management team on Monday and an agreement was made to reposition the chain-link fence.
