Classic on track

The second Joseph Payne Memorial Classic will be held at the National Stadium from 9 a.m. on January 29.
Sixty-five track and field events as well as cycling are on the programme and several schools and clubs have already confirmed their participation.
Meanwhile, 50 to 75 athletes will learn practical skills they can apply to preparing for meets through the Classic’s educational component.
The McEnearney Quality Track and Field Workshop and Health Fair starts at noon next Saturday at the the McEnearney Showroom, Wildey.
There will be sessions conducted by sport psychologist  Beverley Drakes; dietician Kimberley Rudder; Dr. Adrian Lorde on Drugs In sports and Dr Colin Alert on fluids and hydration.  (SAT)
