Mara arrives at Lodge School

Democratic Labour Party candidate in today’s by-election in St John Mara Thompson arrived at the Lodge School at 10:53 tonight.
She was accompanied by her three daughters Misha, Oya and Osa.
She arrived just after more results were announced.
In JC2 (A-H) Thompson got 253 votes, to 19, received by Hudson Griffith, the Barbados Labour Party candidate. In that same box (I-Z) Thompson got 263 votes to Griffith’s 13.
In JC3 (A-Z) Thompson received 134 votes, to Griffith’s 21. in JC4 (A-Z) Thompson received 213 votes, to Griffith’s 88.
In JD1 (A-Z) Thompson took 263 votes and Griffith, 35. In JD2, Thompson got 163 votes, and Griffith, 11.
