Mara Thompson, the Democratic Labour Party’s candidate in today’s by-election in St John says she is happy with the campaign she ran.
Thompson made a brief stop at The Lodge School this morning around 7:30.
When asked about her feelings regarding the entire campaign and being a first timer on the political platform, Thompson said it was not much different from what she was accustomed to when she accompanied her late husband David Thompson on the campaign trail.
What is different this time, she said, is that the focus is on her.
