Jubilation over win

It was nothing but jubilation at The Lodge School when Mara Thompson was declared the duly elected representative of St John.
The crowd went wild when she was named MP, taking over from her husband, the late Prime Minister and parliamentary representative for the parish.
She said it was a “bitter sweet” victory for her.
Thompson savoured her win with her daughers Misha, Oya and Osa.
