Bridgetown and its surrounding beaches are overflowing with tourists today as five cruise ships docked in the port bringing a total of 12 000 visitors to the island.
With the largest ship Celebrity Equinox leading the way and Carnival Destiny arriving with the most passengers – more than 3 000 – tour buses were moving back and forth, rammed with visitors who were pre-booked for various activities while the port taxis stretched more than 60 vehicles deep awaiting their turn.
The other three vessels are Braemar, Thompson Destiny and Norwegian Dawn. (KB)
