Kraigg Brathwaite completes a century. Congrats to him. It is a well deserved hundred in which he played solidly. He reached the landmark with a single to mid-on off Aneil Kanhai in an over in which he also lifted the off-spinner over wide mid-wicket for four.
The century came in 268 minutes off 272 balls and included eight fours.

Kraigg Brathwaite is the sixth batsman to reach 80 in this match. The question is will he be the first to score a century. It has been a very solid effort from the 18-year-old opener.
Kyle Hope has had a few anxious moments but he’s still there.
Barbados scored 105 runs in that session and some have suggested that with a lead of 176 they should try to make things interesting by making a declaration during the interval.

“What took place will certainly be in the eye of the match referee. It should never have reached that stage.
“After the trading of words, as the Barbados coach, I would have been on the field when the batman was injured, proceeded to take command of my charges and let them know that cricket is being played and we have a match to play.
“I am disappointed in both coaches, the managers and both umpires. They clearly should have been in charge of the game and they were not.”

Barbados have pushed on in the first 20 minutes after lunch. Kirk Edwards hit off-spinner Amit Jaggernauth for three successive fours and Kraigg Brathwaite also joined in with a boundary in the next over. Brathwaite has also had two close shaves.

Good going by Kraigg Brathwaite and Kirk Edwards in the period leading up lunch. They are starting to look a little more positive against the Trinidad and Tobago spinners.
Barbados should not lose from here. This is a chance for one of these batsmen to come up with a big one

It’s fairly quiet here. Kraigg Brathwaite is prepared just to defend against the spinners and Trinidad and Tobago are starting to crowd him with a cluster of close-in fielders.

We’ve had a sound start to Barbados’ second innings. Dale Richards and Kraigg Brathwaite are wary that a top order collapse could put Barbados under pressure.

Barbados finally get the last wicket after 33 minutes of play. Tino Best strikes with the last ball of his first over by producing a yorker that bowls Shannon Gabriel.
Rayad Emrit is left stranded three runs short of a hundred. Emrit gave Gabriel one ball to survive at the end of the over but he couldn’t hold on. The No. 11 did in good job, however, in making six to help Trinidad and Tobago to a first innings lead of 17.
Is the match now a dead rubber or are we in for more excitement?

No. 11 Shannon Gabriel does very well to keep out Pedro Collins, who is now operating from around the wicket. Gabriel blocked a few balls and picked up two runs through square-leg off the last ball over the over. Trinidad and Tobago trail by one run.

Two runs came from the first ball of the second over from Kevin Stoute, but Rayad Emrit turned down singles from the third and fourth balls and was unable to get a single from the last ball to retain the strike.

9:20 a.m.: Hello and welcome to Guaracara Park on a sunny Monday morning in south Trinidad for coverage of the fourth and final day of this match between Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.
All the interest will be at the start of the day when the battle for first innings points will be decided.
Trinidad and Tobago will resume on 390-9 needing six runs to overhaul Barbados’ 395.
Significantly, last man Shannon Gabriel will be facing the day’s first ball, while Rayad Emrit, unbeaten on 82, will be at the non-striker’s end.
It will be interesting to see who is entrusted with the ball for Barbados. The suspicion is that Tino Best and Ryan Hinds are the main options.
We could be in for a tense start to the day.
