Adams House in winners row

Adams House won both sections to take the overall title for the fourth straight year at The Lester Vaughan School’s Inter-House Track and Field Championships today at the National Stadium.
Adams House took the crown with 725 points, comfortably winning the girls’ section by more than 100 points, then easing past Prescod by two points among the boys.
Prescod were second with 610 points, followed by Gill (571), Sobers (553), Barrow (241) and Walcott with 197.
Fourteen records were broken and one equalled.
Among the outstanding performers were Rivaldo Leacock, Tiana Bowen and Shamar Rock of Sobers house; three-time victor ludorum Rhys Phillips of Gill; victrix ludorum Shaniqua Allamby of Adams and 13-year-old Brandon Hope of Prescod who set a new record of 1.77 metres in the Under-15 boys’ high jump.
