Alleyne’s winning leap

Tiffany Alleyne, of Prescod House, leaped high and long to win the Under-17 girls’ long jump at The Lester Vaughan School’s Inter-House Track And Field Championships yesterday at the National Stadium. 
But she had to settle for second place overall as Prescod finished with 610 points, more than 100 behind perennial champions Adams who won their fourth straight title with 725 points. Gill were third with 571 points.
