THREE DECADES after winning their first St Leonard’s sports, nothing much seems to have changed for Adams.
Led by division champs Akeim David, Rashad Phillips and Rashon Crichlow, Adams (Yellow) took their unprecedented 31st successive house title on a canter, topping their nearest rival by more than 300 points following yesterday’s action at the National Stadium.
Adams finished with 565.5 points, easily overcoming the challenge of Worrell (Red), who finished with 257.5 points and Hackett (Green – 250.5).
King (Orange) was fourth with 249.5 points, followed by Springer (Blue – 243) and last placed Carver’s (Purple) 229.
It was the second time in as many years that Adams won by at least 300 points, as the perennial champs entered the day with a near 100 point advantage with most of the events still to be completed.
About the only thing Adams didn’t capture was the victor ludorum crown, which was taken home by Springer’s Kion Joseph after the under-20 champ amassed a meet best 64 points.
