GEORGETOWN – Barbados won the toss and sent Guyana in to bat on the opening day of their fourth round WICB Regional first-class match at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence on Friday.
There was no play in the pre-lunch session because of a heavy shower between 9 15 a.m. and 9.45 a.m. but play started immediately after the interval.
Barbados left out allrounder Shamarh Brooks and Jason Haynes from their touring party while Guyana brought in allrounder Christopher Barnwell and batsman Gajanand Singh for the injured Esaun Crandon and Shemroy Barrington. (EZS)
