The Barbados Regiment is being urged to consider the very important work they are called upon to do in maintaining order in society.
Monsignor Vincent Blackett, in delivering the sermon at a church service in recognition of Barbados Regimental colours at St Patrick’s Cathedral, said this was especially so in these times where greater demand will be made of them.
He reminded regiment members of their role as key contributors to the improvement of life in Barbados.
The service was attended by members of the several detachments of the Barbados Defence Force. (LK)
