Two Barbadian nationals are now in custody as a result of an operation conducted by the RBPF Drug Squad, Barbados Coast Guard and the RSS.
Police Public Relations Officer Inspector David Welch said a boat was intercepted off the north western coast of Barbados, after a lengthy chase.
Welch said three (3) polyphene bags and one black bag, containing cannabis, the weight of which is undetermined at this time, was found onboard. He said a number polyphene bags containing cannabis were also recovered from the sea.
The operation started yesterday morning and ended around 10:30 this morning.
