A man is currently assisting the police into the shooting death of Anderson Brathwaite, formerly of Sargeant Road, Ellerton, St George.
This incident occurred on Sunday January 2, 2011 when the deceased was attending a fete at Cane Hill, Ellerton, St George.
Police public relations office Inspector David Welch said they would provide information on any future developments in this matter.
He also gave information on a police operation which took place early yesterday. Inspector Welch said the operation, which took place at Durants Development in Christ Church, netted 200 cannibis plants which were found growing in a bushy area.
He said there were no arrests, and investigations were continuing. (CM/PR)
