Thirteen isnt proving so unlucky for Springer Memorial.
Another Inter-School Sports Girls title is but a mere formality for the reigning 12-time Powerade Barbados Secondary Schools Athletic Championshp queens, after the girls from Government Hill opened up a 75-point lead at the National Stadium earlier today.
At lunch, Springer’s 149 points headed the standings, ahead of Queens College (74 points), and Harrison College (72 points).
In the boys section, early-moning leading St Leonards Boys (96 points) maintained their advantage atop the leaderboard, ahead of contenders Ellerslie Seondary (90), defending champs Harrison College (88 points) and former kings Queens College (72 points). (JM)
