The northern end at the 3Ws Oval is named in honour of two outstanding West Indies spinners, Sonny Ramadhin and Alf Valentine.
During the 2011 WICB regional four-day competition, two spinners have admirably led the attack for Combined Campuses and Colleges in helping them land a place in the semi-finals.
Off-spinner Ryan Austin (left) is the tournament’s joint second highest wicket-taker with 32 scalps, while left-armer Kavesh Kantasingh is just behind with 28 wickets.
The pair will be looking to be among the wickets when CCC clash with the Windward Islands in the semifinals starting today at the 3Ws Oval.
