Fabolous arrives for show

AMERICAN RAPPER JOHN JACKSON, whose stage name is Fabolous, was spotted admiring the scenery outside Grantley Adams International Airport this afternoon.
He arrived in Barbados unheralded to perform at The Return Of Fabolous show at Kensington Oval tonight.
As he waited to be picked up and taken to his hotel, the 33-year-old, who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, said he anticipated a short but enjoyable stay on the island.
“I’m excited about everything . . . . I’m gonna just definitely have a great time and have a lot of fun.
“This time I’m hoping to move around the island and hang out a little. I plan to have some nice food to eat and go as many places as I possibly can.”
The artiste, who has performed here before, rose to popularity with his hit single Can’t Deny It from the 2001 debut album Ghetto Fabolous, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling over one million copies by 2003. (AH)
