Speechless, shocked and simply overwhelmed with emotion.
That was the reaction of Yulanda Long and Ryan Celius last night after they were declared this year’s winners of the Nation Publishing Co. Limited’s Forever I Do competition before a packed Needham’s Ballroom at Hilton Barbados.
They won from a field of six others.
A teary-eyed Long struggled to find the words to express the thoughts racing through her mind, while Celius admitted he prayed to God that the most deserving couple would win, even if it was not them.
The couple’s prizes include a venue for their reception at Mahogany Ridge, a bridal gown for Long compliments Wedding of Elegance, a Bionic Man Shop outfit for Celius and everything else needed to make their January 2 wedding day extra special.
