The man who was involved in an accident last night in Speightstown, St Peter has been identified.
He is 30 year old Ivor Schuman.
Schuman lives in Friendship, St Lucy.
This was confirmed by Police public relations officer Inspector David Welch.
He said the accident occurred around 11 p.m. He said Schuman was walking along the Speightstown by-pass when he was involved in an accident with a car.
Welch reported that the man, who was in critical condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital earlier in the day, was now stable.
