A man described to be in his mid 30s is now in critical condition in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after he was involved in an accident in Speightstown, St Peter last night.
Police are still trying to identify the man who is of East Indian descent and is dark in complexion.
Police public relations officer Inspector David Welch told NATIONNews this morning that the man is of slim build, has dark hair and is about five feet five inches to five feet seven inches in height.
At the time of the accident, he was wearing a white short sleeve shirt, and a pair of jeans.
Welch said the accident occurred around 11 p.m while he was walking in the Speighstown area.
“We are now trying to identify the victim,” he said.
