Shaquana Quintyne knows a thing or two about batting – or probably 150 things.
Yesterday, the Garrison Secondary 15-year-old student hit a stroke-filled unbeaten150 off 69 balls in a Twenty20 match during the Barbados Cricket Association’sIris Walker Memorial Women’s Tournament.
Playing for the Pat Whittaker Pride, Quintyne, who has already represented the senior Barbados women’s team, smashed 20 fours in helping her team to 299 for one against the Gloria Gill Dolphins at Queen’s Park.
When the Dolphins replied, they could only manage 67 for four to lose by 232 runs.
