It’s Palm Sunday and many churches across Barbados recognised this very important day on the Christian calendar.
This day which always falls on the Sunday before Easter Sunday is marked by the distribution of palm leaves (often tied into crosses) to the assembled worshipers.
In this Nigel Browne picture, worshippers of the Christ The King, Rock Dundo, Cave Hill, St Michael church participated in the Palm Sunday service, with Reverend Luther Johnson taking the lead, blessing the palm leaves.
