A gift of educational toys from Sandy Lane will bring brighter smiles on the faces of 50 children under the care of the Child Care Board.
The gift was accepted by Director of the CCB Joan Crawford earlier today at the St James resort.
Resident Manager, Eric Mapp indicated that the gifts were part of Sandy Lane’s contribution to the Child Care Board at the launch of Children’s Month in May.  Mapp added that Sandy Lane had adopted the Farr’s Children Home and they were moving towards setting up a similar relationship with a secondary school.
Crawford said the 50 toys would go towards children in some of the homes as well as children at day care.  “Sandy Lane has been very good to us during the past two years and they have proven to be extremely good corporate partners with the Child Care Board,” Crawford stressed.
