A fun day for Bees

Barbados Labour Party (BLP) supporters braved the wet conditions and descended in the hundreds on the Ermie Bourne Highway (East Coast Road) for the annual picnic today.
The scenic highway was transformed into a red sea as past parliamentarians, sitting MPs, new candidates and their families, friends and supporters, gathered to celebrate the birthday of Sir Grantley Adams primarily, and the other nine heroes by extension.
Party leader Owen Arthur was the main speaker but there were also performances from the likes of Biggie Irie, Philip 7 and Peter Ram. (YB)
