In an effort to help the small business people as well as ease the pockets of Barbadian consumers, Market Day is becoming a popular feature across the island on the last Saturday of every month.
And organizers are hoping to one day increase these events to every Saturday.
Today, at Western Light Church of the Nazarene in West Terrace, the St James South Constituency Council was holding its second Open Market “to provide a platform where residents can sell their wares and get items cheaper than in supermarkets”, said Heather Snagg.
Here, customers seek out bargains on clothing. (CA)
