Two men will appear in court on Tuesday to answer drug charges.
Fisherman Connell O’neal Little, 36, of Lighthouse Lane, Atlantic Shores, Christ Church, and unemployed Anthony Elon Gittons, 36, of Niles Road, Ellerton, St George will appear at District F Magistrate Court.
Police public relations officer Inspector David Welch, in a release today, said the men were charged with possession, trafficking, possession with intent to supply and importation.
He said: “In response to a report of a suspected drug landing, and a suspicious boat in the area of the East Coast Road, St. Andrew, on Friday April 29, 2011, members of the Drug Squad seized16 packages of cannabis, weighing 74.8 lbs., and arrested two men. The fishing boat used eventually sank”. (CM)
