It was clean up day at Wotton, Christ Church today.
A day after the area was flooded with more than five feet of water, residents who were trapped in their homes for most of the day yesterday were busy removing the mud and debris from their homes, sanitizing households items and cleaning their weather-hit vehicles.
Stephan Brooks, one of the young men who went across the water in a boat to see whether residents were safe, said Government’s Drainage Unit was in the area for several hours Monday, night pumping off the water.
