MIAMI – Caribbean football strongman Jack Warner says he has a renewed motivation to serve after he was confirmed on Tuesday as CONCACAF president for a sixth term.
The FIFA vice-president was earlier this year nominated unopposed for the role which sees him in control of the powerful continental governing body for North, Central American and the Caribbean.
Three other executive members were confirmed in their positions after also being nominated unopposed.
Barbadian Lisle Austin will serve as vice-president of the Caribbean Zone, Mexican Football Federation chief Justino Compean will continue as vice-president of the North Zone while Panamanian Ariel Alvarado will be a member of the Central American Zone. (CMC)
