BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Prime Minister Dr Denzil Douglas escaped injury today after his vehicle was involved in a four car accident, his press secretary Erasmus Williams has said.
“I had the opportunity of seeing him and speaking with him this morning. He is not injured. He is in good spirits and is carrying out his normal duties which include meetings with General Douglas Fraser, Commander of the United States Southern Command and the Secretary General of the St. Lucia-based OECS Secretariat, Dr. Len Ishmael,” Williams said.
Williams gave no details of the accident, but said that the vehicle belonging to former health, social and community development minister Rupert Herbert, was also involved in the mash up.
He said none of those involved in the accident had been injured. (CMC)
