MOTORISTS TRAVELLING along Bay Street, St Michael, yesterday bore witness to the sight of nearly 100 Barbados Light & Power (BL&P) employees marching in silent protest.
They were protesting the board of directors’ apparent stalling tactics concerning the collective wage agreement for June 2010 to December 2011.
However, it is unknown whether their efforts amounted to anything as it was reported the Barbados Workers’ Union had not sanctioned the action.  Here, the mostly male BL&P protesters marching in unison. (CA)
