Hip hop star Sean Kingston came close to drowning after a serious jetski accident left him convulsing in the middle of Miami’s Biscayne Bay.
Two witnesses to the crash held the 21-year-old’s head above water, but were soon forced to wave down Coast Guard Jonathan Rivera as they were having trouble holding Kingston up.
Rivera held onto Kingston for the 15 minutes it took for a police boat to arrive.
The singer was “convulsing and throwing up blood” but managed to repeat the words, “I’m going to be OK,” said Rivera.
‘The Beautiful Girls’ singer was listed as critical in Jackson Memorial Hospital straight after the accident on Monday morning (AEST), but has since stabilised, his publicist said.
“Sean … has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean’s family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time.”
It is not known what injuries Kingston has. His 23-year-old passenger was not injured. (msn.com)
