Different ground, same result.
When it comes to the shorter versions of the game, West Indies just can’t seem to get it right.
The regional boys looked good and bad in patches yesterday as they lost the one-off Twenty20 match to India at Queen’s Park Oval.
Just like a few weeks ago against Pakistan, the Windies’ batting wobbled in the middle order, and India, behind two big wickets from Harbajan Singh, defeated the boys in maroon by 16 runs.
Darren Bravo scored a brave 41, and new boy Christopher Barnwell showed glimmers of greatness with a flashy 34 not out, all in vain.
Here, West Indies opener Andre Fletcher is looking back to see his bails being dislodged by India’s M.M. Patel yesterday.
