Arch Cot fund to court?

BENEFICIARIES OF MORE?THAN $20 000 left on a Barbados National Bank (BNB) account intended for the children of Donavere Codrington might have to be determined by the court.
DAILY NATION investigations revealed that the money deposited by kind-hearted Barbadians following the Arch Cot, Brittons Hill tragedy four years ago does not bear the signature of any specific group.
This latest development follows the SUNDAY SUN exclusive in which relatives of the Codrington family queried the inability of the children or family members of Codrington, who died in the collapsed apartment building, to benefit from the fund.
In a statement yesterday, the Barbados National Bank confirmed the account was opened on May 31, 2007 and said there had not been any withdrawals from a deposited $20 185.31.
