Mia questions Greens project

FORMER?LEADER?OF?THE?OPPOSITION Mia?Mottley?wants to know why only four of the near-50 houses Government built in Greens, St George, are occupied.
Speaking during a Barbados Labour Party (BLP)?meeting at George Lamming Primary School  on Sunday night, Mottley launched a scathing attack on Government’s housing programme and expressed concerns over the Greens project.
“In Greens, almost 50 houses have been built by Government and just four people are in them. They cannot even get people take the keys and move in and the houses finished supposedly two years ago,” she charged.
“One of the four is the constituency assistant to the MP and another is the former branch secretary for St George South of the Democratic Labour Party. (MK)
